James Louis (Louie) Huff

James Louis (Louie) Huff passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado at the age of 62.

A service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Taylor Funeral Service in Delta, Colorado. A dinner will be held after the service at 4250 1900 Rd in Delta, Colorado.

Louie was born on April 28, 1962, in Delta, Colorado to Tillie Espinoza and Alvie Huff. Louie grew up in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 1979. He then met Ramona Lovato and they had 2 beautiful kids, Louie Huff Jr., and Janet Huff, then later on in his life had another daughter, Ashley Dahl.

Louie has been a resident of Delta all his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, listening to his oldie and Spanish music, and being with his grandkids.

Louie is survived by his son, Louie Huff Jr. of Delta, Colorado; daughter, Ashley Dahl of Grand Junction, Colorado; three grandkids; brothers and sisters, Belen Maestas of New Mexico, Sally Quintana of New Mexico, Carlos (Gina) of New Mexico, Clyde Huff of Grand Junction, Colorado, Lawrence Huff of Ridgeway, Colorado, Ricky (Carmen) Huff of Delta, Colorado, and Danny Huff of Delta, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Tillie and Manuel Fernandez of Delta, Colorado; daughter, Janet Huff of Tennessee; brother, Phil Espinoza of Moab, Utah; and sister, Melinda Rubalcaba of Delta, Colorado.
