MR. JAMES ALFRED "FOOT" JACKSON, son of the late Mildred Jackson Carlos and Grannison Warren, Jr, He was born on September 7, 1959, and entered into enteral joy on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Foot was born in Camden, South Carolina where he was raised by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jeanie Jackson after the untimely passing of his mother, Mildred Carlos.

They settled down in Long Branch, New Jersey where he fathered two daughters, Draya Lynn Jackson and Dana Latoya Jackson.

He returned back to South Carolina where he went back to work at the racetrack. He worked with the horses that he loved, until he retired. In 2020 he rekindled his friendship and relationship with his high school sweetheart Theresa Mitchell, who remained by his side until the end.

He is predeceased by his mother, Mildred Carlos; his father, Grannison Warren Jr; grandmother, Jeanie Carlos Jackson; two uncles, Edward Jackson Jr; and Roosevelt Jackson; an aunt, Clara Jackson Edwards; and two nephew, Kyle Johnson and Ja'Mari Kyle Johnson.
