James Lynn Spence (Jamie), 78, of McRae, Arkansas passed from this life on January 5, 2025. Jamie was born November 12, 1946, to Walter and Mora Lu Lane Spence of Sylvania, Arkansas. He was a retired dairy farmer, a member of 16th Section Union Church in McRae, and an avid sports fan. Jamie loved his family and friends.
Jamie is survived by his wife Myra Poindexter Spence; daughters Erica Darden of McRae, Kristy Spence and children of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kelly Spence and children of Arizona; and great niece/caretaker Ashlynn McCoy of Searcy, Arkansas; sisters Shelba Dixon (Dearl) of Austin, Arkansas; Tina Paintin (Patrick) of Cabot, Arkansas; and brother Donald Spence (Donna) of Beebe, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
Jamie is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronnie Spence, grandparents Ernie & Birdie Allison Spence, and Ernest & Emma McCree Lane.
