 RACINE—James “Jim” Leonard Davis II, 64, of Racine, OH, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at his residence.

 He was born June 12, 1960, in Parkersburg, WV, son of Janice Louise Dailey Thompson and the late James Leonard Davis. Jim was a 1978 graduate of Eastern High School and retired from Shelly Materials as a Riverboat Captain with 40 years of service. He loved building motors and participated in the Sternwheel Regatta all along the river. He was an avid race fan and Ohio State Buckeye Fan.

 Including his mother, Janice Thompson, he is survived by his wife, Jacinda Mullen 

Davis; son, James Garrison Davis; 2 daughters, Rebecca and Macayla Davis and Brittany and Ryan Hill; 3 granddaughters, Gracie Hill, Libby Yonker and Kamryn Davis; grandson, Liam Davis; 2 brothers, Jerry Davis, John and Brenda Davis; 2 step brothers, Roger and Sheryl Thompson and Tom Roush; 4 step sisters, Barb and Rick Tergolina, Bev Geiger, Ronda Stutler and Dee Lee and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jared Davis and stepfather, Clair Thompson.

 Services will be held at 4 P.M., Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Speaker Scott Heckert officiating.

 The family will be accepting family and friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 P.M. until time of service.
