James "Jim" Schadt

James "Jim" Schadt entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 81.

Born on November 6, 1943, to the late Karl and Helen Schadt, Jim spent his life as a dedicated worker and a loving family man. He was a familiar and friendly face at the Niagara Falls Boulevard Home Depot, where he proudly worked for over 30 years.

For the past 43 years, Jim made his home in Depew, NY, alongside the love of his life, Judy Tower. Together, they built a life full of laughter, love, and lasting memories.

Jim was happiest in nature---spending time in the woods hunting and cherishing quiet moments with family and friends. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his deep love for those closest to him.

He is survived by his children: James Schadt, Josh (Wendy) Schadt, Jim (Colleen) Tower, Paul Tower, and Don (Jean) Tower.

Loving grandfather to Andrew Seguin, Aaron Schadt, Kyle (Amanda) Tower, Haley (Ben) Steinbrucker, Tennison Tower, and Virginia Tower.

He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Carter and Aubree Tower.

Jim leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were truly like family to him. His legacy is one of kindness, strength, and quiet generosity.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 17, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a graveside burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Jim will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
