James "Jimmy" Ray Eiland, age 64, of Clanton, Alabama, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL.

Born on July 31, 1961, in Florida, he was the beloved son of the late James Eiland and Geraldine Eiland. Jimmy was a dedicated equipment operator who carried a deep love for the Lord and his family. Known for his passion for nature, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors on his tractor. A talented woodworker, Jimmy also had a remarkable gift for nurturing relationships. He was a steadfast rock for those around him, always ready with wise counsel and a loving heart.

His family was his greatest joy. Jimmy cherished every moment shared with his children and grandchildren, creating countless memories filled with love and laughter. His infectious smile could light up any room, and his steady presence brought comfort and safety to all who knew him.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Dianne Eiland; his mother, Geraldine Elizabeth Eiland; sons Darian Eiland, Dane (Mary Elizabeth) Eiland, and Erik (Holly) Tucker; daughters Karen (Jeffrey) Huber and Laura (James) Goude; as well as seven grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister, Cindy Sanshu, and brother, Jeff Eiland.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Eiland, and his grandmothers, Rena Maddox and Opal Eiland.

Friends and loved ones are invited to gather on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Daniel Wilson. Interment will take place at Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, Alabama.

Arrangements are being handled by Martin Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family in the guest registry at www.martinfuneralhomeinc.com.

The family requests memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jimmy. 

Jimmy Eiland's legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
