We come together to celebrate the beautiful life of "JJ", a fun-loving, good-humored family man who filled our lives with joy and laughter. Born on July 20th, 1947, in West Palm Beach, Florida, JJ spent his entire life embracing the vibrant community and sunshine of his hometown.
His greatest passions were sports and being in the gym, especially when shared with his loved ones. JJ's eyes would light up whenever it was time to watch the Miami Dolphins play, turning every game into a cherished family event. Whether it was cheering on his favorite team, being a gym enthusiast or meeting new people, JJ's enthusiasm was infectious.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Josh Johnson and daughter-in-law Angie Johnson, who shared many joyous moments with him. JJ's compassionate and kind spirit was also a source of warmth for his brother Dale Johnson and sister-in-law Brenda Johnson as well as his grandchildren Pierce & Brianna Johnson.
JJ's life was a tapestry of happy memories, laughter, and love. His delightful stories, especially those from game days with the Miami Dolphins, will continue to bring smiles to all who knew him.
We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating JJ's remarkable life at a graveside service on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 10 am at Palm Beach Memorial Park (3691 Seacrest Blvd, Lantana, FL 33462).
JJ's legacy of joy and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.

I will forever miss you Jay! Your beautiful smile and the three new jokes you had to tell me every time I saw you. And the way you always made sure you parked your car, so that no one could block you in at family get-togethers, so you could sneak out whenever you felt it was time to go. It became a family joke that always made us laugh. You were a great father and grandfather. You enjoy Heaven now and know that we will see you again one day. I love you Jay! So so much.
Forever.
