James J. Jordan, Sr., of Wexford, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was 87 years old.
Family meant everything to Jim. He shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife Mary Ann Jordan, who preceded him in death. He was the devoted father of Joanne Schultz (Jeffrey), James Jordan, Jr. (Amy), Jeffrey Jordan (Patricia), and Jill Wall (Brian). Jim took great pride in his grandchildren - Justin, Cody, Blake, Matthew, Alexandra, Zachary, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Logan. He was the loving brother of Barbara Snyder, Betty Lee Frankovich (Gerald), Edwin Thaner, Susan Lammie (Scott), and the late Jack Jordan (Patricia) and enjoyed being the "out-law" of the late Don Dabkowski (Marilyn), the late Gene Dabkowski (Barbara), and John Dabkowski (Marcia). Jim is also survived by his many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

Jim was a U.S. Army veteran and the proud son of an Army Major. He enjoyed a long career with Hallmark Cards before becoming the owner of two Mary Ann's Hallmark card stores. Jim was a great storyteller. He was a Pittsburgh sports enthusiast. He loved fishing, playing poker, and the occasional game of bingo. While Pittsburgh was always his home, Jim more recently enjoyed spending the colder months at his home in Florida.

Family will welcome friends on Monday, September 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143, with a Knights of Columbus service at 5:30 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Saints John & Paul Catholic Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the American Heart Association.
