James Kamara Obituary
ALBANY - James Morris Kamara, age 75, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, at 8:15 a.m. in Mishawaka, Ind.
In April of 2012, James suffered a life-altering stroke that initially left him paralyzed. True to his nature, he refused to be defined by this challenge.
He is survived by his loving children, Zoe Fatu Kamara Dzineku, and her husband, Michael Dzineku; and his granddaughters, Georgia Bendu Arthur and Chloé-Elizabeth Arthur; daughter Hawah Jatu Kamara, daughter Sanghai Musu Kamara; and son Sevelee Kamara; his granddaughter, Jerrita Broughton; and his grandsons, James Kamara Jr. and Wellington Kamara. He is survived by plethora of brothers and sisters and friends, whom he also considered close family. He was loved by many.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Zoe Kamara and Sevelee Kamara.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Church, 107 State St., Albany, N.Y. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I used to play tennis with James many years ago. He was one of the most positive people I've ever met. Always kind and in a good mood. The world needs more like him. RIP
