James "Devin" Kane

New Windsor, NY, Formerly of Mount Hope, NY
James Kane, 26, entered into rest on April 5, 2022. The son of James and Maureen (Maelia) Kane, he was born on May 12, 1995 in Middletown, NY.
Devin was a graduate of Minisink Valley High School and Orange County Community College, and was an employee at Medline Industries. He loved scuba diving, fishing, and playing video games with his sister and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Devin was kind, caring, thoughtful, considerate, loving, sincere, funny, and was a sweet, gentle soul.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Bridget M. Kane; his half-brother, Robert J. Kane; paternal grandfather John S. Kane; nephew, Jack Kane; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved pets, Emma his Golden Retriever and Pearl his cat. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Mary Maelia, paternal grandmother Kathleen Kane, and stepmother Karen Dorry.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, April 10 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 4:30. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11 in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Township, PA.
