James Charles Keith

James Charles "Chuck' Keith Jr. born September 8. 1956 in Big Springs, Texas and passed away, January 11", 2026 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Charles Keith, Sr. and Anna Maxine Keith of Hot Springs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Donna Keith, his sisters Lynn (James) Jackson, Kathy (Del) Kendrick all of Hot Springs. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kandi Keith of Hot Springs, a son and daughter-in-law, DeShay and Rebecca Pounds of Cleburne, TX, A daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Antonio Reyes of Hot Springs, AR, and a son and daughter-in-law Derek and Jennifer Pounds of Trenton, TX.
His grandchildren include Jared (Ali) Keith, Paxton (Nick) Spurlin, Braley (Austin) Chitty, Caidence Pounds, Tre (Blakely) Reyes, Rayne Reves, Rayne (Nathan) Angell, Jensen (Xavier) Hernandez, Angelica Reyes, Douglas Paul, Cooper Allen Pounds, and Josh Walker.
His great-grandchildren include Beckam Spurlin, Quinn Keith, Scarlet Chitty, Elena Reyes, Maria Hernandez, two more great-grandsons on the way.
Chuck worked at Chem-Fab Corporation for over 20 years as a skid tubes assembly man. Chuck served the Department of Corrections for 10 years at Ouachita River Unit as a CPL officer. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and his fur babies Bentley, Bailey, and Sugar Bear.
His body will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on Monday, January 19th at 10AM.
Honorary pallbearers are the officers at Ouachita River Unit and the National Guard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital and/or Hope Fur Paws Rescue in Hot Springs as these causes were very dear to his hearts.
