James Morris Key

Mr. James Morris Key, age 86, a resident of Auburndale, Florida, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Mr. Key was born October 15, 1939, in Athens, Alabama to Howard William and Olivia (Glass) Key. He was an Auburndale resident for over 70 years coming from Alabama, retired from Coca Cola as a Maintenance Supervisor/Mechanic and was a member of Lynchburg Baptist Church. James enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother – Ronald Houston Key and sister – Shirley Connell. James is survived by his loving family, wife of 66 years – Vona Key of Auburndale, Florida; son – Barry (Jill) Key of Taylor, Florida; 2 daughters – Terrie (Dan) Webb of Lakeland, Florida & Sandra (Todd) Marciano of Auburndale, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
