James "Jimmy" Killingsworth, 65, of Youngstown, went away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Jimmy was born on August 12, 1960 in Bay County. As a young man, he was a great baseball player and was in the Little League Hall of Fame. Jimmy became an excellent businessman, working most of his life as a welder. His creativity and skill in metalworking was admired by those around him. In his spare time, Jimmy loved hunting, fishing as well as playing golf with his Dad. Jimmy was a loving and compassionate person, who treasured his family – especially his grandchildren. He helped people when he could and always remained loyal to his friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his uncle, Jerome Killingsworth; and his paternal grandmother.

Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 42 years, Lisa Killingsworth; sons, Brent and William Killingsworth; daughter, Hollie Mathews; grandchildren, William "Miles" Killingsworth, Jordan Mathews and Lillian Mathews; parents, James T. and Lillian Killingsworth; brother, Frank "Tom" Killingsworth and Charles Lynn Killingsworth; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends. The family would like to say "hats off" to his close friends Merritt Grice and Brian Jenkins.
