James G. Konerman (Jim), 93 years of age, passed away peacefully Saturday at Rosedale Green.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Stella (Schuette); his four children Jim (Barb), Dave (Bev), Kathleen,

and Laura (Chuck) Frank, his eight grandchildren Brad (Alison), Jennifer (Derrick), Kyle (Jaime), C.J.,

Connie, Shannon, Heather, Amber; his two great grandchildren Sloane and Kinsley; many nieces and

nephews, and sister in law Ginny Konerman. We know that he is reuniting in heaven with his parents,

Edward and Clara, his brothers Fr. Ed SJ, Bill, and Paul (Joan).

Jim was born and raised in Covington, in the St. Benedict Parish. He attended Covington Catholic for two

years before entering the seminary of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers in Glen Ellyn IL where he

studied for several years. Upon leaving the seminary, he moved back home to Covington and began

work at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Jim worked for over 35 years for DuBois Chemical in Cincinnati.

Jim and Stella raised their family in Ft. Mitchell, and were active members of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Jim served as Eucharistic Minister, lector, and bereavement committee chairman. He also served on

committees for Covington Latin High School, Notre Dame Academy, and Blessed Sacrament School. In

their retirement years, Jim and Stella liked to travel, serve as ushers at Music Hall and the Aronoff, and

most importantly spend time with their grandchildren, attending many of their games, concerts, shows,

and events. While in their eighties, Jim and Stella moved to the Village of St. Charles Care Community

and were active there as well.

Jim will be remembered as a man of faith, a devoted husband, and a kind father, grandfather and great-

grandfather.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00pm at Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright. Mass of

Christian Burial will be Saturday 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be at Mother of God

Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to: St. Charles Chapel Ministry 600 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011 or St Vincent De Paul of

NKY 2655 Crescent Springs Pike, Covington, KY 41017.
