Stella Marie Konerman (nee Schuette), 92 years of age, passed away peacefully Monday September 18
2023 at Rosedale Green.
She is survived by her four children Jim (Barb), Dave (Bev), Kathleen, and Laura (Chuck) Frank, her eight
grandchildren Brad (Alison), Jennifer (Derrick), Kyle (Jaime), C.J., Connie, Shannon, Heather, Amber; her
two great grandchildren Sloane and Kinsley; and many beloved nephews and nieces. She joins her
husband of 67 years, James G (Jim) Konerman in heaven, as well as her parents, Anthony (Bud) and
Mary Schuette, and her dear sister Mary Ann Brucato (Mike).
Stella was born and raised in Covington, in the St. Augustine Parish. She is a proud alumna of Notre
Dame Academy. For many years, she organized annual luncheons for her fellow classmates. After
graduation, she became an x-ray technician for St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Jim and Stella raised their family in Ft. Mitchell and were active members of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Stella was constantly volunteering for her children’s schools and for her church. In their retirement
years, Jim and Stella liked to travel, serve as ushers at Music Hall and the Aronoff, and most importantly
spend time with their grandchildren, attending many of their games, concerts, shows, and events. The
grandchildren will fondly remember all the special treats Grandma would provide, especially her
homemade cookies and fudge. Stella enjoyed spending time with her friends, including her “club” of
high school friends, the “nickels” card group, and both the Schuette and Konerman cousins get
togethers. While in their eighties, Jim and Stella moved to the Village of St. Charles Care Community and
were active there as well.
Visitation will be Sunday Sept 24 from 3pm to 5pm at Middendorf Funeral Home. Mass of Christian
Burial will be Monday Sept 25 at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be at Mother of God
Cemetery. Memorial donations are requested to: Notre Dame Academy and Rosedale Green.
