It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of James Korakis, 21, of Whitestone, Queens, New York, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident. His sudden departure has deeply affected his family, friends, and community, leaving us all in mourning.

James, celebrated for his vibrant personality, adventurous spirit, contagious laughter, and unwavering kindness, embraced life with enthusiasm, courage, and no regrets. Always eager to explore new horizons, James' passion for motor vehicles lead to his pursuit of mechanical engineering and reflected his love for adventure. Never one to take the easy road, James consistently challenged himself, taking on major projects like completely dissecting and rebuilding a Jeep Trackhawk in his spare time. James also played football for Whitepoint and Bayside High School. James heavily embraced his Greek culture, spending the past two summers exploring Greece, meeting Greek natives, enjoying the Greek cuisine, and developing a passion for Greece's language and music.

Although his life was tragically brief, James Korakis' legacy of adventure, love, and laughter will endure. He will be remembered for his zest for life, his generosity, and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His memory stands as a testament to a life lived boldly, with joy and purpose.

In lieu of flowers we ask that contributions be made in James' name to The Dan Marino Foundation, 49 N Federal Hwy, Dania Beach, FL 33004, [email protected]
