James Joseph Kraemer

James Joseph Kraemer, son of the late John and Marie Kraemer, died on January 29, 2023 at the age of 62 after a long battle with serious illnesses. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He is succeeded by his daughter, Brittany Kraemer; his older brother, Robert Kraemer; and his younger sister, Diane Kraemer.
Jim was a retired Strongsville Police Officer with over 20 years of service. He had a degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University and focused his career on patrolling the streets, using his intelligence and wit to keep his community safe. While devoted to his police service, his greatest joy was his daughter Brittany. He was a loving father who took great pride in his daughter's accomplishments.
Jim valued his independence and tried to live life to the fullest in his own way. He greatly appreciated fun times with family and friends, enjoyed flying model airplanes, driving miniature boats on nearby lakes, and was always ready with a joke. His ability to find humor in daily life will long be remembered.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 4PM - 8PM at Tomon and Sons Funeral Home at 7327 Pearl Road in Middleburg Heights. His funeral will be held the following day on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10AM at Holy Family Catholic Parish in Parma, Ohio.
