James M. Krajewski

James M. Krajewski, 74, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on February 3, 2023. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Stanley and Regina (Zakrzewski) Krajewski. Jim attended St. Matthew's Catholic School and was a graduate of Conrad High School and Thompson's Business School. He began his career as an ironworker then established his own painting business which he operated for more than 30 years.
Jim was a devoted husband and father and valued time with his family. Some of his interests were boating, fishing, crabbing and spending time at his second home in Laurel, DE. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. He was a talented handyman and remodeler and loved to work on projects around the house.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathryn (Michelinie) Krajewski; son, Brad Lewis; brother, Thomas Krajewski (Barbara); sister, Barbara Chechila; nephew, Michael DePrisco, who he thought of as a brother (Debbie); mother-in-law, Alice Michelinie; brother-in-law, William Michelinie (Lenore); sister-in-law, Kay Michelinie; brother-in- law, James Michelinie (Eileen); and many other nieces and nephews.
Per his request, funeral services and interment will be held privately.
