James “Jimmy” E. Lambert, 72, of Gardner, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Mashantucket, CT, after a period of declining health.
Born in Gary, Indiana, on August 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Bill Lambert and Fannie (Carney) Thomas. He graduated from Lake Station High School, Addison, IN, with the Class of 1970. Jimmy loved to stay active fishing, golfing, and especially wrestling—a sport he excelled in. He enjoyed taking trips down to Foxwoods, hoping for that big win. Jimmy’s greatest joy was his family, treasuring and holding all the memories he made over the years close to his heart.
Jimmy is survived by his two brothers, Robert Lambert and his wife Betty “Boop,” and Bill Lambert and his wife Becky; nieces and nephews, Bryon Lambert, Erin Micciche, and Heather Smith; and great-nephews, Nick and Cash Micciche.
He was predeceased by his love of 38 years and wife of 19 years, Marie J. (Voisine) Lambert, who died on May 21, 2024; and his stepson, Shane O’Hearn.
