Mr. James Terry Lee, age 63 of Jacksonville, FL passed away on October 26, 2025 surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 3, 2025 at 1:00 P.M in Oak Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may visit the family at 188 Briarwood Circle in Americus.
James Lee was born on March 24, 1962 to the late Robert Cecil Lee Sr., and Martha Nell Jordan. He was an Yeoman in the U.S Navy and E7 Chief he spent many years serving his country before retiring to the things he loved, like his Georgia Football games, going hunting and fishing, southern cooking (especially fried chicken), and his animals, in particular his pet duck named Drum Stick who stayed in the house with him.
Mr. James Lee is survived by his wife; Caroline Elizabeth Hildreth Lee of Jacksonville, FL; his two daughters, Ginger Hoffman (Ryan) of Americus, GA and Amanda Lee of Jacksonville, FL. His two sons; Christopher Lee (Jessie) of Americus, GA and Blake Lee (Tristee) of Warner Robbins, GA. Three sisters; Teresa Lee Stokes of Warner Robins, Tammy King (Sean) of Warner Robins, and Brenda Legg (Donnie). Two brothers; Robert Lee and Tracy Legg of Andersonville, GA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Campbell Wiggins, Paisley Wiggins, and Maddie Lee.
Mr. James Lee was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a son; Joshua Lee. Along with his sister, Donna Lee, and his brother, Benny Legg.
