James K. Linsley, 86, of Ochlocknee, GA, passed away on Wednesday - January 7, 2026.

James was born in Moultrie, GA, on June 26, 1939 to the late James Ralph Linsley and Lillie Belle Castleberry Linsley. He was a graduate of Colquitt County High School and retired from Davco in Thomasville. He was married to the love of his life, Brenda Ward Linsley for almost 40 years, who preceded him in death on February 7, 1997. James loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandchildren. Family was everything to him. James was known to be very social and friendly, he never met a stranger. He enjoyed tinkering and working on things out and around the house. When he wasn't spending time at home with family he could be found going square dancing or riding his motorcycle. He was truly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Pamela Miller (Marcus) of Thomasville, Peggy Fulghum (Freddy) of Ochlocknee, GA, Michael Linsley (Kimberly) of Virginia Beach, VA, Christopher Linsley of Ochlocknee, GA, and Dana Tate (Paul) of Cairo, GA, grandchildren, Kirk (Kala), Nathan (KaCee), Marcus (Angela), Jim, Kimberly, Sarah, Kelly, Victoria, Neil, Kirstin, Asa, Brooke, Brenten, Susanlea (Coot), Alisa, and numerous great-grandchildren, a brother, Jesse Lee Linsley of Tracy, CA, and a nephew, Scott Linsley (Wendy) of Tracy, GA.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, James Fulghum, three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jamie, and Victor, and a nephew, Brad Linsley.
