Joseph Linsley Obituary
ALBANY - Joseph K. Linsley, 77, entered Eternal Life, Monday, February 2, 2026. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of Charles and Dorothy Smith Linsley.
Joseph was a longtime pipe insulator for Local 40 Heat and Frost Union. He was currently employed at the Crowne Plaza - The Desmond Hotel.
Although family was his greatest focus, Joe was a devoted lifelong golfer. He was a student of the game, and played every day he could. And over the years, he found the best friends you could ask for, whether it was on the links, or in the club house.
He was the beloved husband of Jane L. Wickham Linsley; dear father of Todd Collins, Nicole Genovese (Phillip); and the late Joseph S. Linsley; cherished grandfather of Dante Genovese and Sydney Genovese; he is survived by several nieces, nephews, and beloved dog Lucy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joseph's family, Friday, February 6, 2026, 3 to 6 p.m., at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St,. Albany, N.Y. 12206. His Funeral Service will begin at 5 pm. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.

Sympathy and prayers to Joe´s family and friends. Town of Colonie Loop won´t be the same without Joe´s humor and wit! We´ll miss him at the Fall Classic in Ticonderoga G.C. ! I still laugh at the time that I got an "Ace" and they thought it was you. Lol. Say hey to the other Loopers up there! Cheers! Tbone
