James Carmen LoPesio Sr

Edina - LoPesio, James "Jim" age 94, of Edina, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 4, 2025. Survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Caterina; children, Dino (Patricia) LoPesio, Vito (Laurie) LoPesio, Carla (Carter) Aguilar, Jim Jr. "Gino" LoPesio, Antonio "Tony" LoPesio (Dave), Gina LoPesio; grandchildren, Nico, Marco, Santino, and Sienna; sister-in-law, Mimma Gumina; brother-in-law, Pino Salerno; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by parents, Domenico and Immecolata LoPesio; and daughter-in-law, Lena LoPesio. Jim was very proud of his Italian heritage. He was an accomplished accordion player and enjoyed playing for friends. He was a musician, a retail business owner and a real estate investor. Above all, Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. Visitation 4-7pm Sunday August 10 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th Street. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Monday August 11 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5071 Eden Avenue South, Edina. Entombment St Mary's Cemetery.
