On September 24th, 2024, James D. MacPherson passed away at the age of 38. James' unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family, loved ones, and friends. He was a son, a brother, a father, an uncle, and a friend.
James was predeceased by his father, Donald, earlier this year, and is survived by his daughters, Alyssa and Giana; his mother, Denise; his brother, Cristopher and his wife Amy, along with their two daughters, Lilith and Madelyn; his sister, Brenda; his significant other, Sara; and his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.
James, also known by everyone as "Dickie," was a brilliant man. He always looked for the good in any situation he found himself in, and it was one of his many talents. Dickie wanted nothing but happiness in this life. He enjoyed spending what time he could with his kids, as they meant the world to him, and he loved them so deeply, even when he couldn't show it. He liked going on adventures with his dog, Kober, who tragically passed away with him. If he wasn't plotting to take over the world while eating his pocket candy, he was going mudding, drifting anything that had wheels and a motor, tinkering with one of his many projects, or researching quantum physics for fun. He could walk into a room and brighten the entire atmosphere with his goofy smile and fun energy.
Dickie wouldn't want anyone to be sad for him. He would want everyone to share all the fun times they had together, smile, and laugh at all the stupid things he's done and come together to be there for each other. Dickie would want everyone to know that he loved being a part of their journey. Please continue to smile for him and always remember that he loved you and he was proud of you.
His family is having a Celebration of Life in his honor on Thursday, October 3, 2024, 5 p.m, at the Polish Amerian Club, 9 First Street, in Windsor Locks.
