James Maddox
Taylors, SC
James Maddox, age 83, of Taylors, passed away on October 24, 2025.
Born on December 27, 1941, in Newberry, SC, he was the son of the late James and Catherine Maddox. James worked as a foreman for Edgecomb Steel and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He recently moved to Belton, SC with his wife. He enjoyed classic cars, specifically his red El Camino. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
James is survived by his loving wife, Linda McDonald Maddox; his sons, Mark Maddox (Bekah), and David Maddox (Alicia); and his grandchildren, Jace and Talia.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley, SC.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
