James R. Mann of Howard City, Michigan passed away January 13, 2026, at the age of 80. Mr. Mann was born to Eugene and Marjorie Mann on November 2, 1945. Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Mary Mann, brother; Vincent Mann, son; James Mann II, daughter in law; Toni, grandson; Derrick and granddaughter; Audry Mann.
Mr. Mann is survived by his loving wife of 48 ½ years Judy A. Mann, daughter; Connie Vidro, grandson; Brandon Vidro, son; Scott (Patricia) Baker, son; Troy (Stephanie) Baker, grandchildren; Josh (Nicole) Baker, Nick (Lauren) Baker, Travis (Kaci) Baker, Ashten Baker, and Tyler Mann, sister; Theresa (Jerome) Rogalski, sister in law Marcia Mann, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Godwin Heights Highschool and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. James retired from the Grand Rapids Water System with 32 years of service. Retirement was spent between his Michigan home and his Home in Texas.
James enjoyed boating, bowling, golf and working around the house visiting family, friends and neighbors. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post and the Cedar Spring, Wyoming Moose lodge. James Mann will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
