James Maxhimer Obituary

James "Max" Maxhimer, 78, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born on August 20, 1944 to the late Robert and Isabel (Pearson) Maxhimer.
Max served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for MCA Signs and enjoyed playing pool and socializing throughout the city of Massillon. He was a frequent customer of Sandi's Tremont Pub, Old Timers Bar and Benders West End. Max was an avid Elvis fan and loved to dance.
James is survived by his brother Bill Maxhimer, brother in-law Frank Manzella, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Roberta Manzella, Carolyn Davis, Shirley Rose, and Donna Gresh.
No services are being scheduled for James currently. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
