James Maxwell Obituary
Buck loved life, his family, and friends. He touched the heart of everyone he met in life and will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Luke Maxwell, Cedell and George Harden; brother, Luther Maxwell.
Left to cherish the many memories include his loving mother, Lucille Epperson of Riceville, TN.; brothers; Richard "Boone" (Pat) Maxwell of Old Fort, TN.; John Henry (Tammy) Epperson of Benton, TN.; and sister, Anne (Bobby) Richards of Chesapeake, VA. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., October 9, 2023, at Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga, Georgia, with Reverend Chad Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery with Cecil Harden, Harmon Harden, Dusty Harden, Dennis Waters, Kenny Adams, Craig Kendrick serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Silvers, and Cole Wilson.
Family and friends will gather from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service at the church.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Gabriel Dunn and Tawanna Taylor at Serious Health and Amy Christian at BCBST.
Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.HigginsFuneral.com.
Arrangements are entrusted to Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
