Rev. James McKenny McIntosh, Jr., 78 of Salem, IN, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 3, 1947, in Charlestown, IN, to James M. and Amelia Sons McIntosh, who preceded him in death. James was a former maintenance man and Pastor. He enjoyed working, tinkering with cars and motorcycles, fishing, reading the Bible, and spending time with his family. James was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara LaFevers McIntosh; sons Daniel McIntosh (Tonya) of Salem and Brandon McIntosh (Nora) of Jeffersonville, IN; daughters Delybra Scrogham (Jeremy) of Elkhart, IN; sister, Nettie Marguerite Hutchinson of Charlestown; grandchildren, Patrick McIntosh, Dillon Scrogham, Rachael Scrogham, Seth Scrogham, Ayden McIntosh, Isaiah McIntosh, Ayanna McIntosh, Bailey McIntosh, Malakai McIntosh, Luke, McIntosh, great-grandchildren, Camille McIntosh, Maci Scrogham, Liam Scrogham, Layton Scrogham, Linden Scrogham, and sister-in-law, Stella Joyce Denton, nieces and nephews, Jordan Denton, Caleb Denton, Hannah Denton, Aaron Denton, Travis Denton.
Cremation was chosen, and a service will be held at a later date.
