JAMES MCISAAC Obituary

McISAAC, James B. "Jim" "JMac" Passed away on March 5, 2026, at his home in Brighton, Massachusetts. Jim was born on April 8, 1967. During his 58 years, Jim touched many lives with his unwavering and unconditional friendship, kindness, love, and caring as well as with his incredibly welcoming and comforting smile. Jim is survived by his wife and best friend, Donna McIsaac; and their two children, Erin McIsaac and Liam McIsaac; he is also survived by his mother, Judy; his brother, Jack; and sister, Meghan. JMac also leaves behind countless friends and family who will sadly miss him but will forever remember him fondly and with great joy. JMac graduated from Boston Latin School in 1985 and attended UMass Amherst. He ran his own business and traveled throughout the country leaving an indelible and memorable impression on all who met him. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and loved playing softball, basketball, wiffleball, darts and cards. He enjoyed watching comedic television shows and movies and spending time with family and friends. His greatest joy was his children. He loved visiting and spending time with his daughter, Erin, in New Orleans and talking about all of her remarkable accomplishments. He also loved watching Liam's sporting events and going with Liam to watch the Little League World Series. Jim's heart, passion and greatest love was his wife and friend, Donna, who he had known for almost 50 years. Jim cherished his mom, brother and sister and his many great qualities and characteristics were instilled in him by his loving relationships with them. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (nr. Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON, on Thursday, March 12, at 10am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market Street, Brighton, at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private. Visiting Hours on Wednesday, March 11, from 4-8pm, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to Boston Latin School Association, 300 Fenway, Suite A375, Boston, MA 02115.
