James W. Meeker, age 58, of Aberdeen, OH, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1965 in West Union, OH, to the late Aaron and Ica (Cooper) Meeker. He was an auto body painter.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Meeker and sister, Brenda Monroe.
He is survived by children, Jason Meeker of Portsmouth, Kayla Howard of Palm Bay, FL, Elizabeth Covert of Peyton, CO; brother, Larry Meeker of Sardinia; sister, Beverly Kay Ellison of Bowersville, OH, 5 grandchildren, Nova Covert, Trevoc Covert, Addison Howard, Elektra Jagotka, Liberty Toppin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St, West Union, OH. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Cremation will follow the services. The Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville is handling the arrangements.

With my deepest sympathy we truly lost a gifted friend who would do anything for his friends and family. You will be truly miss we thought of u often. He had such a wonderful gift and talent write poems he painted wonderful pictures with words . I remember moments of conversations I have had with Jimmy. He was smart and a true friend . I'm so sorry . Miss u dear friend. Forever in our hearts .
