Stefanie Lynn Banashak, 61, of West Union, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Born on June 5, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland, Stefanie was the eldest daughter of John Banashak, Jr. and Donna (Vanhorn) Michael. While her childhood years were spent in Baltimore, Stefanie lived most of her adulthood in West Union, Ohio. Stefanie will be profoundly remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by her only son, Devin Michael and nine grandchildren who brought immense joy into her world. Stefanie also leaves behind her sister, Jackie Sininger and several nieces and nephews. Stefanie was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her only daughter, Ashley Michael, whose memory she held close to her heart. A heartfelt celebration of Stefanie's life will be planned in the future, honoring the family's request. Details regarding the service will be shared as soon as they are finalized. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of her family, but her memory will forever be cherished.
