James Merritt Obituary
He lived a life that bestowed him with the gift of knowledge. Sometimes it was hard earned, and as such, he never shied away from sharing it with someone who could benefit from foresight in lessons he ventured courageously into without.
By all accounts a person who was held in high regard by those with whom he loved. Jimmy was greeted by his family who all went before him and had been waiting his return, but the many friends made along his journey hold his memory dear in their hearts.
Jimmy's life was celebrated at a Memorial Service held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at Mt. Zion Restoration Church in Gastonia.
