James Merritt Obituary
James Allen Merritt, age 60, of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 31st, 2025.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 16th, 1965 to Danny Joe and Sharon (Swatts) Merritt.
Jim was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister – Judith Ann Mobley.
He graduated from Ball State University and earned his degree in Braille and Science. Jim served over 20 years on the West Baden and French Lick Fire Departments.
Jim enjoyed gaming and working on cars.
He is survived by:
Sons – Nicholas Merritt of West Baden Springs, Indiana
Andrew Merritt of West Baden Springs, Indiana
Sisters – Denna Merritt of Indianapolis, Indiana
Sherrie Merritt (Clifton Riley) of Washington, Indiana
Cremation was chosen.
