James Messick Obituary
Big Jim had been a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Ironheads. He was a retired mechanic for Etscorn Service and loved working on old cars. Jim was a great person, father, grampy, and friend. He is with us, he will always be with us. He is in our home, he is our heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Clarice Messick; grandfather, Carl Braun; brothers, Bobby and Duck Messick.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Elizabeth; sons, Bernard Willis (Lynn), Martin Willis, and Timothy Willis (Casey Simmons); grandchildren, Shelby Willis, Jonathan Willis, Noah Willis, Arslynn Vickers, and Andrew Willis; great-grandchildren Astryd and Aura Ma Vickers; sisters, Janet Snow (Alan) and Carol Hancock; brothers, Roy Messick and Terry Messick (Karen); nephews, John Gammons (Lynn), Chris Hancock, and Michael Gammons; niece, Beverly Messick; great-nephews, John Gammons Jr. and Roy Gammons; great-niece, Kristen Messick.
