James Carroll Miller, "Jim", 72 of Belleville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at his home. He was born September 2, 1950 in Casa, Arkansas. His parents were Bert and Ruby Webb Miller. He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Kathy Roberts.
Jim was a boilermaker and founded Miller Industrial Services Team in 2003. The business flourished over the years and provided jobs for hundreds of people including his three sons and son-in-law who now own the company. When the company first began, he traveled and was away from home often. He was always anxious to get back to his wife, children, and later, grandchildren. After moving to Florida, Jim was an avid saltwater fisherman and loved taking family and friends out on his boat fishing. In addition to fishing, he found a love for hunting after retirement. Some of his other passions included vintage cars, his yorkies, and a cup of coffee. Three years ago, Jim moved to Arkansas and loved sitting on his back porch watching rabbits, birds, and the occasional deer in his backyard.
While Jim was a tough, hard worker who did things his way, he was also loving and giving to his loved ones and his community. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his three sons, Jim Miller, Jr. and wife Tammy, Joseph Miller, Robert Miller, all of Ohio; daughter, Toni Hoelke and husband, Rich of Florida; grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, Joseph Jr., Julia, Jenna, Kaleb, Haley, Austin; siblings, Pat Kinsey and husband Bob of Arkansas, Marilyn Samaniego of Louisiana, Dan Miller and wife Tee of Louisiana; Barbara Frances of Arkansas, Linda Short and husband Ed of Arkansas, Ruby Gillespie and husband Darrell of Arkansas, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
His visitation will be at 5-6pm, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral. The Funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral with burial following in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
