James Michael “Mike” Miller, age 68, of Gratis, OH passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. He was born November 1, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Norris T. And Lillie Mae (Norman) Miller.
Mike was a cement mason and it was a great part of his life; he retired from Lithko Contracting. He loved classic rock music and would often wear band T-shirts; he was an avid fisherman. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharilyn Kay Stubbs on September 22, 1979 and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Greg Miller. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharilyn Miller; daughter Summer (Zack) Pence; grandchildren Ezra James Pence, Koby Lee Pence and Kaden Ryan Pence; brother Doug Miller; sister Kim (Dean) Reitman; close friends and parents-in-law Jean and Garry Pence; and cat Cora.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Preble County, 951 S. Barron Street, Eaton, OH 45320.
