James Albert Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on August 21, 2025, at 93 years of age. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Alban and Margaret Miller. James proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a Mechanic for the Indianapolis Power and Light Co., Noble School, and MSD of Perry Township, prior to his retirement. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. James is survived his children, Jean Messenger, Gerald Miller, Richard Miller, Timothy Miller, Donna Dunmire, Michael Miller, Teresa Jakubovie, Sharon Griffith, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret whom he was married to for 61 years, and they were married September 25, 1954. The family invites you to join them for a time of sharing memories at 9:00am and a Memorial Service at 10:00am on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township.
