Jason Maxwell Vanduyn, age 50 of Camby, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, August 13, 2025.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, located at 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221.
A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM. Chaplain Tom Bartley will officiate.
Jason was born on November 4, 1974 in Beech Grove, Indiana, a son of his father: Michael Vanduyn and his mother: Cindy Wright. His father Michael Vanduyn survives in Indianapolis. His mother Cindy Wright survives in Greenwood.
Jason married Kristina Gayle on September 22, 2001 in Whiteland, Indiana. His loving wife of 23 years Kristina Vanduyn survives in Camby.
Jason is also survived by two sons: Evan and Austin Vanduyn of Camby.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law: Lona Huffman of Mooresville and his father-in-law: Bob Gayle of Whiteland.
Step siblings: Rachel Struchen of Island Lake, Illinois, Ericka Struchen of Carmel, Thomas (husband Oscar Arias) Struchen of Chicago, Illinois, and Leif (wife Drema) Esch of Wytheville, Virginia.
Brother-in-law: Jeremy (wife Ericka) Gayle of Bargersville.
Sister-in-law: Amy (husband Phil) Melangton of Indianapolis.
Sister-in-law: Sara (Eric Grinstead) Huffman of Williamsport.
Many other family members and relatives survive.
Above all Jason was a devoted Father and Husband and a wonderful son.
He worked as a warehouse supervisor at Nice Pak in Plainfield.
He enjoyed watching WWE and was an avid Colts fan.
His favorite pastime was spending time at the Lake with his family and playing video games. His favorite movie was Starship Troopers.
He had an awesome sense of humor and was as tough as they come when it came to his family.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife Kristina and his favorite place was the American southwest.
