Dona Rae Hollaway Roberts, 87 of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, to be with the Lord. Her loving family was by her side.
Dona was a graduate of Indiana University, where she was also a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. Dona enjoyed a career in healthcare as a nurse and educator. She was also a member of the loving faith family at Pittsboro United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Roberts (2018); and her parents, Byron Lowell Hollaway and Eva Mae Hollaway.
Survivors include her children, Phil (Chris) Roberts, Karen (Paul) Egerton, and John (Gidget) Roberts; grandchildren, Allison (Pete) Williams, Jacob (Abby) McNabb, Blaine (Rachel) Roberts, Max (Abby) Roberts, Noah Roberts, and Abbey (Luke) Julian; and great-grandchildren, Scarlet Williams, Emerson Roberts, Theodore Roberts, Eloise Roberts, and Rebecca Julian.
Visitation service details are pending in the care of Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro. Burial will be at the Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift be made to Life’s Journey of Avon In-patient Hospice or Pittsboro United Methodist Church.
