Sandra Kay Hornback, 81 of Lizton, Indiana, passed away on August 30, 2025. The following is an obituary she had written.
Sandy was the daughter of Russell "Bud" and Pauline (Wright) Myers. She was born February 20, 1944, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Cale Hornback and Aspen Jade Hornback, and wished a special thanks to her friends, Sue Hines and Duane Martin, for helping hands all these years.
Sandy is predeceased by her husband, Larry Hornback; her sisters, Barbara Joan Hysong and Betty June Myers; her son, Steven Russell Hornback; her nephew, Robert Hysong, Jr.; and many treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors who all made life worth living.
She graduated from Lizton High School and worked 44 years for Jack, Jacque, and Steve Kesler of Kesler-Schaefer Auto Auction in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Sandy's life will be celebrated privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Pittsboro, Indiana.
