James Earl Minner was born in Floydada, Texas on February 12, 1943. His spirit departed life on earth and entered a heavenly life on April 15, 2025. James is the son of James Minner and Grace Nelms, both deceased. During this union five more children were born. Perry Lee Minner Sr; Mae Katherine Boyd, Gloria Jean Harris, Shirley Ann Frazier and Maurice Gene Minner. James' other siblings are Mae Francis Baskerville, Burnett Toney, Ray Anthony Toney, Vicki Brown, Roland Baker, Stanley Collier, Donzell Minner, Dale Minner and T. Earl Nelms deceased.
He has five children: Quennoth Dunlap, Tamara Pippin, Quentnay Duran, Nathan Minner, Angel Molock.
James Earl was a very loving brother and father and loved his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and people in general. He retired from General Mills after 12 years. He had made his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico but after retirement he moved back to his hometown Floydada. He always valued his appearance and dressed accordingly. He had a appreciation for dancing and music. During his life he decided He surrender to the call of almighty God, to the lord ship of Jesus Christ, accompanied by the surety and promises of grace. He was a ordained minister while residing in Albuquerque. He was knowledgeable in Bible scriptures and didn't hesitate to enter a lively discussion.
He often quoted scriptures, but a few seemed to be his favorite. He quoted First Corinthias 13:9-10, "For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. Scripture says "to absent from the body in to be present with the lord." Jame Earl Minner made a mighty wise decision. He also encouraged others to do the same.
