LANCASTER, SC – Mr. James Andrew Moak, age 80, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was born January 25, 1945, the son of the late Andrew Moak and the late Viola Branham Moak. Mr. Moak enjoyed being outdoors, he was always piddling with something. He loved going to sit by the river, and loved helping others, especially his neighbors.

Mr. Moak is survived by his son, James Moak; his grandson, Joseph Moak (Olivia); five great-grandchildren, Aimee, Joseph, Jr., Carter, Hailey, and Hunter Moak; his sister, Brenda Turner; and many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Viola Moak; and his brother-in-law, James Turner.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mr. Moak will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Greenlawn Cemetery (New Section) in Great Falls, South Carolina officiated by Pastor Clyde Hardin.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster Health & Rehabilitation, 2044 Pageland Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720.
