James P. Modaff

James "Jim" Modaff, 68, of Evansville, WI, formerly of Wheaton, IL passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Javon Bea Mercy Health Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born on January 31, 1955 in Aurora, IL.
Jim was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus and involved in many fundraisers with them. He was a member of St. Paul's Church in Evansville, WI and was highly involved in the religious education program teaching Confirmation classes. Jim was a very fun, kind and generous person who loved astronomy, gardening, and photography. He also enjoyed taking photos of the beautiful flowers he grew in his garden. He was a beloved uncle to all of his nieces and nephew and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister and two brothers Robert Modaff of Evansville, WI, Mary (Ashok Rajput) Modaff of Madison, WI, and Donald (Renee) Modaff of Louisville, KY; and his three nieces and nephew Rashmila Modaff, Michael Modaff, Tiffany (Anthony) Schneider, and Hannah Modaff.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delores (Baker) and Clarence Modaff; and his brother Richard Modaff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY. Fr. Abbot Vincent Bataille, OSB will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:00am until the funeral hour at 11:00am at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY.
