Donald L. Modaff, 91 of Aurora, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born November 19, 1932 in Wheaton to Margaret (nee Fortman) and Phillip Modaff.
Don was an Air Force veteran serving in England when he met and married a young British girl named Margaret Herbert.
Don and Marg returned to Aurora and built a home in Marywood where they lived for the next sixty years, raising four children.
They were lifelong members of Annunciation Parish.
He leaves behind his son Wayne Modaff, daughters Janet (Gary) Stull, LeeAnn (Jim) Probst and JoAnn (John) Peters along with eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Don is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, his parents and his nine siblings.
Funeral services will be private according to his wishes.

Such a warm, funny, caring man. He was a great talker with a great laugh. He was the star of the movie I made for his little brother, my dad for his 70th. When I picture him it is with a big smile.
