Betty Jean, James jr ... This is a huge shock to find the passing of your husband and father. I found this Obits as I was looking for his phone number to give him a call to let him know I was living in Dares Beach, Maryland --- 100 yards from the Chesapeake Bay. Gordon, I am sorry for being late as this is one of my greatest losses. God be with you and your family. Gordon was not only my Boss, but one of my best friends and he will be sorely missed. My 79th birthday was on the 16th January 2012

I am thankful for Gordon's life and the powerfully positive impact he had on me over all the years of my life as one of his nieces. My family and I want to express our love to Betty Jean, Lee, Steve, Taylor, Jim, and Roseanne as we grieve with you and rejoice for him as well.

My father passed the Friday before Father's Day in 2009 and I remember him every day. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved ones today and always.

To Betty Jean, Lee and Jim - I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Jim. I honestly do not believe I can think of anyone funnier than Jim. He was always so nice to all of us. He will be missed. I will be thinking of all of you during this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

JIM AND I ENJOYED SOME GOOD TIMES AND MANY LAUGHS WITH GORDON. I KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. I BET HE ALREADY HAS THE ANGELS LAUGHING. WE ALL CAN FIND PEACE IN THAT HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE.

Dear Betty Jean, Lee, Jim, and family,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your husband, and Father. He was one of the nicest, funniest, happiest, and loving persons I have ever known, and always made you feel happy in his company. I remember having the best times when he and his brother Dick were together. I hope all the wonderful memories you have of him will help provide you some comfort during this sad and difficult time, and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With sympathy and love,
