James Moore

Mr. James L. Moore, age 84 of Jonesboro passed away December 26, 2025. Mr. Moore was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and was preceded in death by his wife Jean Moore, who passed away December 19, 2025. He was also preceded in death by his parents Joseph Moore and Bernice Jones Moore. Mr. Moore is survived by his daughters: Lisa Addison (Tom Fusia) of LaGrange, Beth Steele of Jonesboro and Sherry Smith of Jonesboro, son: Joe (Stephanie) Moore of Stockbridge, sisters: Shirley Smith of Jonesboro and Virginia Hensel of MN, 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
