Terry A. Cheney

Terry Astin Cheney, age 79, of Jonesboro, passed away on January 26, 2026. He was born on December 1, 1946 in Atlanta to the late; George A. and Ruth Cheney. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and his brothers, Mike Cheney, Larry Cheney and Randy Cheney. He served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his children; Melissa Gwyn (Tom) Turgeon of Concord, David Astin (Tina) Cheney of IL, grandchildren; Josie (Nick) Saunders, Elizabeth Mathis, Kimber (Cody) Smith, June Turgeon, Bobby Cheney, Tommy Turgeon, Amanda Ruth Cheney, great grandchildren; Henri Astin Smith, Max Saunders, Blythe Saunders and extended family. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon till 2 PM the day of the service.
