Date of Birth: March 10, 1960
SABATTUS – James Morin, 63, passed peacefully, with his mother and son by his side, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Androscoggin Hospice House after a short battle with cancer. Born on March 10, 1960, son of the late Charles Morin and Bernice (Caron) Clavette.
Jim worked for Bath Iron Works for 38 years. He loved to fish and watch football and Nascar. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Lewiston as well as the Pastime Club in Lewiston.
Jim was predeceased by his father, Charles Morin, his grandparents, George & Eva (Landry) Morin; Arthur & Albertine (Bolduc) Caron.
He is survived by his mother, Bernice Clavette and her husband Herby Clavette of Sabattus, his son Jimmy Morin of Sabattus; step-brother, Raymond Clavette and his wife, Diane of Durham, 3 step-sisters, Sandra Akers and her husband Dick of Greene, Lorraine Brown of Oakland, Cindy Sasseville and her husband, Kevin of Lewiston, his godfather, Dick Caron and godmother, Pauline Breton as well as several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's honor to the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn.

My Condolences to Jim's family. Jim was a life long friend. We meet when we were 6 years old, when his dad and mom moved to Jeffery st. Lewiston. We worked at BIW together for 26 years in the tin shop. You will always be in my thought Jim. We will see you later on the other side.
