Jim was survived by his son Matthew Swick; Matthew's mother Diane Swick; Brother Ed (Patricia) Morris; sister-in-law Patricia Morris; nieces and nephews Rebecca Weisz , Christopher (Laura) Morris, Stephen Morris; and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention by name.
Jim was preceded in his passing by his parents Charles J. Morris Sr. and Margaret (Smarsh) Morris; brother Charles J. Morris, Jr.; and his nephew Chuckie Morris.
Jim was a United States Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam war. He was always proud of his time spent on the aircraft carrier. He was a member of the Knights of Colombus, and served as an officer for the organization. Jim was a cheerful man, always willing to lend a hand when needed.
